Cannot create account on portal

Hi Dan,
This is due to a very frustrating bug in the portal. it happens when you have previously sent us an email request and therefore your email address is already registered. If you tell me your work email, I will send you an activation mail so you can get passed this. If you don't want to post it here, send it to hans@dbvis.com.

I tried to create a new account, and the form accepted my name and email address. I was returned to the login screen, clicked the "Forgot password link" and got an error that I am not authorized to access the portal. That left me scratching my head. Any way I can create an account using my work email, not my google or social accounts?
