If you leave Database Userid or Database Password blank DbVisualizer will send them as blank to the JDBC driver. There is a slight technical difference between that and not sending them at all. Some JDBC drivers prefers one way and some the other way.
To make DbVisualizer not send the blank value type in the value (null).
