Postgres Jobs

[This topic is migrated from our old forums. The original author name has been removed]

Hi, I really +adore+ this software and would be a +very+ happy man if i could completely replace pgAdmin for my daily work (it really is +extremely+ unstable!) Unfortunately i cannot uninstall pgAdmin just yet as DbVis lack the jobs scheduler, which i use frequently... Please, _please_ include it in your roadmap as soon as possible..! If you have a plan to implement it (as well as the SQLserver agent jobs scheduler) please give me a _rough_ estimate on when you might release it.. (just a ballpark date, like "Q3 2014" or "late sep-october 2011", nothing specific which i know is very dangerous to blurt out...) Best regards, /Mike

Re: Postgres Jobs
Mike, Thanks for your post. I will register an RFE for your requests. Very difficult to comment when it will be implemented... We will check into it and do a rough estimate. Best Regards Roger

Re: Postgres Jobs
Mike, We just launched the BETA testing of the upcoming 9.5 version with improvements for PostgreSQL and Jobs. It would be great if you can give it a test and verify. http://www.dbvis.com/download/beta/ For more information about the news in the BETA version: http://www.dbvis.com/doc/relnotes/index.jsp?showheader=false&showtoc=false&version=9.5-BETA We plan to go public with 9.5 in a few weeks. Regards Roger

Hi Mike,

I just wanted to let you know that we have released DbVisualizer 9.5 today with support for the feature you asked for. Please upgrade to the latest official version. Easiest is that you open Help->Check for Update in DbVisualizer to perform the upgrade.

An alternative is that you download from our web site:

Best Regards,
