Where are the user settings saved?

All user settings (including connections, bookmarks, layout of tabs and windows, etc) are saved in the USER-HOME/.dbvis folder. The location of this folder depends on what OS is used:

UNIX/Linux	/home/<user>/.dbvis
Windows	C:\Users\<user>\.dbvis
macOS	/Users/<user>/.dbvis

How do I backup or migrate my settings to another machine?

The recommended procedure to transfer user settings from one environment to another is with the File->Export Settings for export and File->Import Settings for import.
