Tabs are named based on patterns. For instance, an Object View tab is named by the connection name followed by the object name by default.
If the default names do not suite your needs, you can change them:
- Right-click the tab title and select Modify Tab Labelling (or open Tools->Tool Properties and select the Appearance/Tabs category),
- Pick other predefined patterns for Object View, SQL Commander, and/or Result Set tabs from the drop down menus or edit a pattern.
The pattern is made up of variables. The Users Guide describes all the variables you can use.
You may also rename a specific tab during the session using the Rename menu choice in the tab right-click menu.
