Windows: java.awt.IllegalComponentStateException: component must be showing on the screen to determine its location Print

This is a bug introduced in Java 1.8.0_131 and is solved in 1.8.0.172. Except for the error window being displayed in DbVisualizer it doesn't seem to have any negative effects when using DbVisualizer. 

Solution: In DbVisualizer 10.0.7 and later versions there is a fix to prevent the error from being displayed. The recommendation is to upgrade DbVisualizer.

If you are not eligible to use the 10.0.x versions (check version in DbVisualizer under Help->About), then install Java 1.8.0_172 and update your DbVisualizer installation to point to that Java version.
