Fedora linux (at least versions 28 to 31) comes with a "headless" Java version, meaning no windows can be opened on the display.
The result is that the installer GUI will not be shown but instead the installation process will be shown in the console instead. Worse is that the dbvis application later cannot be started as no window can be opened.
The solution is to install a full Java version.
