Search/Replace in "Edit Cell in Window"

It would be great if "Edit Cell in Window" allowed search/replace. Another useful feature would be to know the ASCII value of the selected character. I often use this feature to remove dodgy MS Word autoformat characters from database fields and currently have to copy/paste to a text editor for search/replace functionality.

Hi Vince, The Replace dialog can be opened from the right-click menu in the Edit Cell in Window editor. Is that what you're looking for? I'll open a ticket for your suggestion about showing the ASCII value of the selected character, but I wonder if it wouldn't be of more interest to show the value according to the current file encoding instead of ASCII.
