Hi,
I installed DBVis 9 but there is a new behaviour that is bugging the hell out of me: now when I single click in a table for example (left side panel) nothing happens and I have to double click.
In dbvis 8 a single click was enough.
Is there any setting to revert this behaviou as it was in DBVis 8?

Hi,
A single click in DbVisualizer 9.0 means just "select", because (along with many other improvements) we now support multiple selections in the tree to allow for easier multi-node actions such as Drop Table etc. Please see this announcement for some of the differences compared to earlier versions:

Hmm, this is a pretty big usability step backwards (require twice as many clicks for one of the most common operations) for what gain? I've used DBVis and other similar tools for years and can't say I've ever found a need for selecting multiple items in a tree, so I suspect it's a pretty low-frequency use case. Please reconsider.
I'm going to uninstall version 9 and evaluation version 8. Are we able to purchase this earlier version in Pro mode?
