I am using DbVis to access a large number of databases that exist on a single Informix instance (and hence the are access with a single DbVis connection).
When I'm looking at a the "Object View Tab" list (containing all of my open tables), it would be nice to know the database that a particular table is from. However, according to the documentation at http://www.dbvis.com/doc/9.0/doc/ug/tabs/tabs.html, ${database} does not seem to be a supported option when naming the tabs.
Is it possible to update the product to support a ${database} variable?
That way, as demonstrated in the attached screenshot, I'd be able to clearly identify which table belongs to which database (just by looking at the tabs)...
Re: Unable to include Database in the name of a Tab
Hi Scott,
Assuming you use a recent DbVisualizer version, the ${catalog} variable contains the database name:

Thanks Hans - I'll make sure I'm on the latest version of the documentation next time!
