Since the version 9.2.13, I think, I cannot ever see any chart right away and I always have to go to the chart configuration dialog and check the "Auto Adjust End value" box. Otherwise both start and end values stay at the manual value of zero, and saving the changed setting as default doesn't work anymore.
The most useful default configuration would be to have
- the End Value as "Auto adjust"
- the start value either as manual 0 or, if possible, to auto-adjust it to min(0., min(of data displayed on y axis)).

There is unfortunately a flaw in 9.2.13 resulting in any entered Manual Start Value for the Y-axis is also applied to the Manual End Value. We will fix this in the next maintenance version.
