MS SQL Server Agent Jobs

[This topic is migrated from our old forums. The original author name has been removed]

Hi, I am just testing DbVisualiser and it seems that the application does not provide access to the MS Sql Server Agent Jobs applet. Is there a way to access it? I would like to be able to check my scheduled Jobs history and, eventually, modify them. I am using MS SQL Server 2005 thanks Al

Re: MS SQL Server Agent Jobs
Hello, I found this quest while trying to find a SQL Agent alternative in dbvis. That feature is critical for me, and will prevent me from purchasing pro (or using the free version). Hopefully some day this will be integrated!

Chris, SQL Server Agent support is planned for the next feature version. We'll post in this thread once a beta version is available. Regards Roger

Re: MS SQL Server Agent Jobs
Hi, We just launched the BETA testing of the upcoming 9.5 version with a few improvements for SQL Server including support for SQL Server Agent Jobs. It would be great if you can give it a test and verify. http://www.dbvis.com/download/beta/ For more information about the news in the BETA version: http://www.dbvis.com/doc/relnotes/index.jsp?showheader=false&showtoc=false&version=9.5-BETA We plan to go public with 9.5 in a few weeks. Regards Roger

I just wanted to let you know that we released DbVisualizer 9.5 yesterday with support for the feature you asked for. Easiest way to upgrade is that you open Help->Check for Update in DbVisualizer to perform the upgrade.

An alternative is that you download from our web site:
