Netezza Features

I have worked with DBArtisan, SquirrelSQL, Nexus, SqlDbx, Aginity, and some others. I think DBvis it's really a universal tool and I'm very pleased with it, the attention to details makes it much more comfortable. I have already get rid of all others. I work with Netezza very frequently and it would be great to have some basic features like: - DDL at Object View. - Info for distribution field, organize field, sku, and statistics. - Right click menu option to generate statistics, disabled if it has them up to date. And there's a very special function that I haven't found yet that would make DBvis the favorite for Netezza users: When Netezza processes a SQL to generate a VIEW, it transforms the standard SQL to an internal SQL, so when you try to get it's DDL, the code it's transformed, like CAST() becomes X::Y and stuff like that. Parsing it it's very tedious and I think some time and regex would do the trick. This function would be an actual life saver for us, Netezza users. Cheers!

Hi Diego,

I just wanted to let you know that we have released DbVisualizer 9.5 today with support for Netezza. Please upgrade to the latest official version. Easiest is that you open Help->Check for Update in DbVisualizer to perform the upgrade.

An alternative is that you download from our web site:
