In current project I participate in, XMLTYPE columns are quite extensively used in Oracle driven database. It is hence very handful to have embedded xml editor that can do basic stuff like syntax highlighting or code reformatting to easily step in and quickly do simple modifications. Unfortunately DbVisualizer currently ships with either read-only view of XML tree or plain text editor that cannot perform two tasks mentioned above. While I can still live with copy&paste approach between DbVisualizer and system text editor, it would be great to see few enhancements to make life easier.

I will open a new ticket that the XML viewer should allow editing, color highlighting and formatting of the XML.
