Don't save timestamps in XML configuration files.

[This topic is migrated from our old forums. The original author name has been removed]

Hi, I'm using Subversion to save important configuration files of DbVisualizer and whenever DbVisualizer is used it seems to save it's configuration files with a timestamp in them. Because of this the files are always marked as changed by my Subversion client, even if no relevant changes to commit happened. This is not a big deal of course, but seems unnecessary to me. The timestamp of the file is preserved by the filesystem, therefore I don't see any benefit of the file saving it's own timestamp in it. You may consider removing the timestamp for users like me. Thanks!

Thorsten, You're right. The timestamps has been in these files since the early days. I'll open a ticket that they will be removed in the next maintenance version. Regards Roger
