Error in handling of "Rule" hint for Oracle

A "rule" hint in Oracle is indicated by /*+ RULE */. When I try to run a select statement with this hint in DBVisualizer, it treats the whole thing as a comment. I know I can work around it by changing my block comment characters, but there should be a better way. I would like to request that the "rule" hints be excluded from being considered a block comment.
