Hide database objects

[This topic is migrated from our old forums. The original author name has been removed]

Is it possible to hide database objects, such as 'Synonyms' or 'Packages' under a schema? I never use most of the objects that show up under Oracle (of which there are like 20) and would like to hide all but Tables and Views. Is there a way to configure this?

Re: Hide database objects
Hi Jason, It is not possible in the current version, but we are going to look at various areas of GUI improvement for the next major release, and this is one suggestion that we may address. Best Regards, Hans

Re: Hide database objects
Jason, I just want to inform you that hiding object types is now possible in the beta version for the upcoming 9.2 version. http://www.dbvis.com/download/beta/ Do this in the right-click menu in the Databases tab and the Database Objects Filter->Open Filter Editor menu choice. The checkbox in front of each object type that is displayed controls the visibility of the type. Regards Roger
