Horizontal cursor positioning

I have a problem with the way the editor handles vertical movement of the cursor. *To reproduce:* * Open editor, enter two lines of code separated by 1 blank line, e.g.: > SELECT * FROM table1; > > SELECT * FROM table2; * Position your cursor just after the asterisk (*) in the first line * Press the Down key twice *Expected:* Cursor is positioned just after the asterisk in the second line *Actual:* Cursor is positioned at the beginning of the second line. All my other editors have this behaviour. It's useful and logical. Please consider implementing it.
