"No JVM could be found in your system" error

Dbvis Version: 9.1.7 OS: win8.1 update1 x64 Java Version: JDK8 x64 pref_jre.cfg: D:\Java\jdk1.8.0_x64\jre When startup Dbvis, shows an error message "No JVM could be found in your system. Please define EXE4J_JAVA_HOME to point to an installed 64-bit JDK or JRE or download a JRE from www.java.com" How to resolve this promblem?

I just hit the same issue - it apears dbvis requires a 1.6 or 1.7 jre -- I too had deleted 1.7 when i installed 1.8 ....

Hi, We will look into adding Java 8 support for an upcoming maintenance version. Until then only Java 6 and 7 may be used. Regards Roger
