cannot launch .app (but dbvis_gui.sh works fine)

I cannot run "/Applications/DbVisualizer.app".  However, the shell script dbvis_gui.sh works as expected.

I tried installing it into /Applications instead of my alternate directory (/opt) that I was using before.

Any ideas?

Hi Matt,

Do you get any error message when you try to launch DbVisualizer.app? Try with 

open /Applications/DbVisualizer.app/

if simply double-clicking the icon does not give any error message.

Which Mac OS version do you use?
