Key binding for rectangular edit

Hello, is there a way to change the key binding for rectangular selection from ALT + MouseClick to CTRL + MouseClick? I'm working on Windows and hitting they ALT key means selecting the first item of the main menu strip of the current window. So when doing an selection with ALT + Click, it will select the area properly but after releasing the ALT key will select the File menu. If you then hit a key it will jump to a menu item in the main menu strip associated with that key. So after I do a rectangular selection, I have to hit the ESC key first before starting to type the text I want to edit/insert/replace. I didn't find anything in the key binding settings.
