How to upgrade zip installation

I've installed dbVisualizer on Windows using one of the zip archives. I had assumed that to upgrade I would simply overly the contents of the existing installation folder with the contents from a newer installation archive. When I take this approach it still shows as the old version. How do I upgrade an installation with the zip archive?

Ken, Usually all files that exists in the newly installed zip would replace those in the existing installation folder. I cannot comment why the version is unchanged. To workaround the issue you experience simply install the new version in a new folder. Regards Roger
