Sql Commander edit menu disabled on startup

If I start DBVis then immediately go the the SQL Commander and start typing a new query, I can't use copy/paste, etc from the Edit menu. The menu shows as normal for a fraction of a second then greys out all it's options (see attached screenshot). In order for the Edit menu options to reappear I have to select the text I want to copy then change the database connection in the dropdown list and change it back again. It doesn't seem to matter whether I change it to a valid open connection or not, even "[ Choose Connection ]" is a valid dropdown list option to fix it. Workaround: I can still use the CTRL-X/C/V keypresses to cut/copy/paste even when the Edit menu is disabled. DBVis Version: 720.1638 OS: Windows XP Database: SQL Server 2008
