After pressing ^+Sh+Space in the editor to look up table details the cursor in the editor (in the main window) stop blinking, even after closing the table pop-up (Ubuntu 10.10 64x, DbVisualizer 8.0, Sun Java 6).

This is probably related to another issue with the cursor that stops blinking in some situations.

We are awaiting a fix from the vendor for this problem.
