Favorites Behavior

I'm using DbVisualizer 9.5.1.


When I double click on a Favorite (or single click on a toolbar-Favorite) the Target object OPENS.  I prefer to use favorites as navigation tools.  Of course, I can right click and select "Select Target Object" if I want to but that's an extra step.


I think it would be nice to add a tool preference that allows users to choose between the behavior upon following a Favorite.


Option 1:  Open Target Object (this is current behavior so it would be default)

Option 2:  Select Target Object

I am now able to get the upgraded version of DbVis at my work.  This feature works great!  Thank you!

Just to let you know DbVisualizer 10.0.2 has just been released adding new shortcuts as previously described.


Easiest is that you open Help->Check for Update in DbVisualizer to perform the upgrade.


An alternative is to download from our web site:


http://www.dbvis.com/download/

Good idea. We will add the following shortcuts for Select Target Object:


Favorites toolbar: Alt+click

Favorites tab: Alt+double-click


I hope you think this is a useful compromise.
