Identify separate environments

I have access to Production and QA databases and I want to create separate configurations so that I don't inadvertently make changes to the Prod databases.

Is it possible to
1. At startup pass which environment I want to connect to and load only the Database connections for that environment?
2. As a secondary indicator, color the tree node, background etc. in some other color like red for Prod database connections.  Ideally, both in the tree view as well as In the SQL window.
