ASCII values for CsvColumnDelimiter when exporting

Is there a way to specify an ASCII character to use for CsvColumnDelimiter when using export?

Specifically ASCII 28 (octal 34), the File Separator character?

The "Exporting Query Results" documentation only provides the default value, it doesn't specify the valid value options for this parameter.

Patrick,

Earlier this week another user asked a related question and the answer is that it is unfortunately not possible now. We will however discuss it shortly.  We will keep you updated.

Your option is to do a replace in a text editor.

Patrick,

DbVisualizer 10.0.22 has just been release with support to specify any Unicode identifier as column separator. Use format \uxxxx where xxxx should be replace with the Unicode identifier.

To upgrade open Help->Check for Update in DbVisualizer to perform the upgrade. An alternative is that you download from our web site: http://www.dbvis.com/download/

Roger
