I would recommend that you download and install the most recent version from our web site: https://www.dbvis.com/download/
If you still experience problems, we need a bit more information to understand what is going on. Please register a support request and attach the log file - you will find the log files in $HOME/.dbvis/logs (unix) or %USERPROFILE%\.dbvis\logs (Windows), where error.log.0 and debug.log.0 are the most recent files.

DB Visualizer splash window comes up for about 5 seconds and disappears. Application never launches, there are no error messages.
